Please complete and return/email the attached form to the school Athletic Director and the VAL League Chairman (ValleyAL.org) in the event of any:
DISQUALIFICATION, PENALTY, OR EJECTION for flagrant, unsportsmanlike conduct, bench fouls or other misconduct of a serious nature committed by anyone associated with a contest you witnessed.
Please file this form within 24 hours of any incident.

Flagrant Misconduct and Special Hearing Panel
4. In the event of any Flagrant Misconduct and/or Ejection, the League Commissioner(s) can construct a Special Hearing Panel that includes 3 administrators or athletic directors to conduct an investigation into the Flagrant Misconduct and/or Ejection. This Special Hearing Panel has the authority to disqualify participants.
a.) Flagrant Misconduct defined as “a foul so severe or extreme that it places an opponent in danger of serious injury, and/or involves violations that are extremely or persistently vulgar or abusive.”
b.) A principal can appeal a decision made by the Special Hearing Panel. If appealed, the League Commissioner will hold a meeting for the Board of Managers (Principals) which will have the final decision on any participation.
c.) If any sports program at any school receives a second ejection in the same sport (at any level) in the same season due to flagrant and/or unsportsmanlike conduct, the Principal, Athletic Director and coach of that school will meet with the League Commissioner(s) to write an action plan to address ways to prevent such incidents from occurring in that sports program in the future.) Such actions may include but are not limited to: NFHS Sportsmanship Course, conducting a Positive Coach Alliance Workshop, and/or conducting a Coach/Parent/Athlete meeting.
d.) If any sports program at any school receives a third ejection in the same sport (at any level) in the same season due to flagrant and/or unsportsmanlike conduct, that sport program shall lose home game hosting privileges in the playoffs.
e.) Each VAL School Administration and/or District Office may elect to impose additional discipline on a case by case basis as deemed necessary involving their respective stakeholders.
